Greetings,

Summer has quietly turned to autumn here in the Pacific
Northwest and throughout the country. This change in weather,
though, has not slowed the pace of events in the Columbia &
Snake Rivers Campaign.
On Thursday, October 8th, salmon and fishing communities, along
with the State of Oregon and the Nez Perce Tribe, filed a
response to the Obama administration's decision to stick with
the failed policies of previous administrations. Read the recent press statement.
A crucial decision on the future of wild salmon and steelhead in
the Columbia and Snake Rivers now faces Judge James Redden. The
future of this national treasure also rests in our collective
ability to mobilize, to raise awareness, to take action, to
build and show the broad support for solutions on the Snake
River that can recover salmon, restore a river, rebuild jobs,
revitalize local communities, and save taxpayers
dollars.
