Join us for the May 11th Invest in Minnesota Capitol Rally. Join us at this critical time in the legislative session to speak up for fair revenue-raising. Legislators need to hear that their constituents want fair taxes to be part of the solution in order to adequately fund services. More information: Last week we reached a tentative contract agreement with the state. Now we must turn our attention to the legislative process in order to minimize the cuts to the essential services MAPE members provide for Minnesota. The Legislature is fighting a poor economy and insufficient revenue, while working to eliminate the state's $6.2 billion deficit through tax increases, spending cuts or both. MAPE supports proposals to raise revenue in a fair way, in order to protect the essential services we provide for the people of Minnesota. If a responsible revenue increase is not part of the end solution to the budget crisis, it will mean real pain for Minnesotans those who depend on the services we provide Join Team MAPE as we rally for investing in Minnesota!
