Show the New York State Senate You Support Real Sex Ed!
On May 8, 2007, the New York State Senate Health Committee advanced The Healthy Teens Act (S.1342). This bill would create a grant program through the NYS Department of Health for comprehensive, age-appropriate, medically accurate sex education.
One person has the power to move The Healthy Teens Act to the full Senate for a vote before the end of session - Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno. We need YOU to submit a letter to the editor to your local paper so Senator Bruno knows that New Yorkers want him to pass this bill before the end of session. New Yorkers must be heard loud and clear on this issue. Your voice matters.
