Subject: Enact the Recommendations of the GrowSmart-Brookings Report

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

Based on extensive research and public input from all corners of Maine, the Brookings Institution's "Action Plan for Sustainable Prosperity" provides our leaders with a clear path towards future prosperity. We, the undersigned, encourage the Maine Legislature to enact the report's recommendations without delay:

- Create a binding Efficiency Commission to streamline government, free up resources for other investments, and reduce tax burdens.

- Make bold investments in Maine's economy, particularly in Maine's high-value innovation industries;

- Commit a steady source of funding to preserve and enhance our working landscapes, wild places, and communities - the "quality places" that attract workers to Maine and grow our tourism industry.
