Privacy Policy
This statement discloses the privacy practices for the East Bay SPCA and its website, www.eastbayspca.org. Our company may provide members, customers and the public with periodic emails that provide follow-up information, such as to an adoption or vet visit, or that feature upcoming shelter events. These emails are sent to people who have elected to provide the SPCA with their email addresses.
Information Collection and Use
The SPCA is the sole owner of the information collected from our facilities and from our website. We do not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement without your express permission or unless ordered by a court of law.
Registration
No registration is required to view the SPCA website. However, if viewers would like to receive email updates concerning the shelter, we ask that they register on our website.
Unsubscribe/Opt-out
All recipients of SPCA email transmissions are given the opportunity to unsubscribe (opt-out) at any time by clicking on a link at the bottom of the email. Recipients may also click on a link at the bottom of the email to view the shelter's Privacy Policy.
Offline Security
Client information and data is stored securely on our site, and can only be accessed by authorized employees of the East Bay SPCA.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Changes to the SPCA's privacy policy will be posted on our website. Changes will automatically be in effect 30 days after they are initially posted. Prior to making any changes the SPCA will send an email to all clients advising them of any changes and their effective date.
