A Day at the SPCA for Kids
Of course kids of all ages love to have fun:consider combining education and entertainment for them at our Day at the SPCA event. Children in grades K-5 will have a great time learning about humane values and interacting with carefully selected shelter guests. Our next fun-filled day will be held on Sunday, November 8. For more information and to register your child for a day they won't soon forget, please click here.

Three Animal Campers enjoy their behind-the-scenes day.

Learning to Share Can be Fun: Doggy and Me
Involving children in the care and training of the family dog teaches lessons in responsibility, increases safety and can be lots of fun. Check out our newest Dog Training class Doggy and Me, which is geared toward families with children ages three to six years old. For more information and to register for this class, please click here.

Caty and Roxy love spending time together.

Meet Ranchita: The Best Welcome Home You Can Hope For
Ranchita is a sweet and lovable six-year-old who will welcome you home after a hard day. She loves head scratches and spending time with people. Please visit our Oakland Adoption Center or click here to find out more about Ranchita.

Ranchita will make a house a home.

Join Us for a Spook-Tacular Time!
Why not celebrate Halloween with our animal friends? There will be a scavenger hunt, games, crafts and time to visit with shelter guests. These are free community events that bring trick-or-treat to the next level. Join us in Dublin on Sunday, October 25 from 3-5pm and Oakland on Saturday, October 31 from 3-5pm. Costumes are encouraged; children must be accompanied by an adult.

EBSPCA Alumni Pierre celebrates the season with a festive hat.

Trick or Treat for the Animals!
Instead of Trick or Treating for candy, let your neighbors know ahead of time (via word-of-mouth or flyer) that you will be Trick or Treating for food for the animals of the East Bay SPCA who are awaiting adoption. Our shelters are always in need of canned cat and dog food, and we currently also have a shortage of bath towels and cat toys. If you would like to help, or have questions, please click here.

Celebrate Your Birthday at the SPCA!

Did you know we are now offering Birthday parties at our Dublin facility? Parties are geared for children turning 3-12. The $150 fee for 10 children includes the room rental, an hour and a half program, favors and animal interaction of course! If your little one is an animal lover a birthday party at the shelter is the perfect way to celebrate. For more information please click here
