Help Keep 11 African Elephants Wild – Deadline June 25
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has issued an Environmental Assessment that whitewashes the numerous, significant detrimental environmental impacts associated with plans by the San Diego and Lowry Park Zoos to import 11 wild juvenile African elephants from Swaziland. The assessment can be found at the following link:

Public comments are needed now to oppose the elephant import. The deadline for comments is June 25, 2003, please write today.
