The short explanation of this alert was:

At a Long Island party, three guests (aged 16 to 20) allegedly killed the host's cat by repeatedly smashing the animal's head with a cinder block, then setting the body on fire. Please Take Action to respectfully ask the office of Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota to prosecute all three defendants in this case to the fullest extent of the law.
