According to internationally-recognized zoo experts, the San Francisco Zoo is an outdated institution that houses many animals in archaic and inhumane conditions that are reminiscent of another century. As a world-class city, San Francisco has a responsibility to provide a higher quality of life for the 1,000-plus animals it puts on display. Please Take Action to urge the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to hold independent hearings on the state of the SF Zoo with the aim of improving conditions for the animals.
