We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit IDA's Action Center.

The short explanation of this alert was:

Rochester Hills, Michigan has proposed a three-year moratorium on the city's bow-hunting ban, due to increasing collisions with vehicles. Killing deer is not an effective population reduction method.  In fact, deer hunting actually increases deer population size. If the city is truly concerned with deer/vehicle collisions (DVC), let's help them come up with some humane solutions.
