Pamela Worden of Rhode Island allegedly stole a baby parrot from a Petco store and cut the bird's leg off in an attempt to remove the identification bracelet. Police recovered the parrot, who has received veterinary treatment, and leveled felony theft charges and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges against the accused. Please Take Action before Worden's trial date of November 5th to urge the prosecutor to seek a prison sentence for the accused as well as mandatory psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
