The short explanation of this alert was:

It has taken wildlife biologists decades of hard work and millions in tax dollars to restore wolves to the Northern Rocky Mountain states. However, a recent proposal from the Bush Administration threatens to remove protections offered by the Endangered Species Act Wyoming, allowing the state to kill wolves almost at will and perhaps even legalizing aerial gunning using planes and helicopters. Please "Take Action" by August 6th to urge the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service not to weaken protections for wolves in Wyoming.

Please also urge friends and family to take action on this important issue.
