The short explanation of this alert was:

Luna and Tonka are two elephants who are forced to perform for Ringling Bros. circus, even though they have been identified as "dangerous" by the circus' own staff. As a result, they suffer even more than the other elephants in the "Cruelest Show On Earth," and pose an especial danger to the safety of circus performers and attendees. Please "Take Action" to urge the USDA to remove Luna and Tonka from Ringling Bros. and send them to a sanctuary where they can live out their lives in peace.

Please also urge friends and family to take action on this important issue.
