Consider these facts: (1) Up to 90% of Snake River salmon are killed by federal dams as they migrate to the ocean. Just FOUR sockeye salmon survived to return to their Idaho spawning grounds in 2007. (2) Hundreds of scientists support removing four costly dams on the lower Snake River as the only way to restore this world-renowned fishery. (3) We have wasted over $8 billion on failed federal salmon "recovery" plans. It is time to remove these dams and replace their services with clean, modern, affordable alternatives.
