We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit IDA's Action Center.

The short explanation of this alert was:

The Iditarod is an annual dog sled race in which teams of canines are mushed across 1,150 miles of frozen Alaskan tundra, a journey that takes between 8 and 16 days. While race promoters and much of the mainstream media portray the Iditarod as a glorious race pitting "man and animal against nature," the reality is that dogs are routinely abused and even killed in this cruel competition. Please "Take Action" to politely tell Panasonic to stop supporting this inhumane event.

Also, please tell a friend about this issue and donate to IDA so that we can continue our important work for animals.
