IDA's Action Center.
The short explanation of this alert was:
In March, IDA and others took a significant step toward protecting wild horses in Arizona's Sitgreaves National Forest, reaching a historic agreement stipulating that the U.S. Forest Service would conduct a NEPA study on the horses and create a program for their management before removing any of them. Yet wild horse advocates have already voiced some serious concerns regarding the Forest Service's intentions. Please "Take Action" to tell the Black Mountain Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, as well as Arizona legislators and your own members of Congress, that the Heber horses should be protected and managed humanely.
Also, please tell a friend about this issue and donate to IDA so that we can continue our important work for animals.
