End Global Poverty: Educate Girls
Girls account for more than half of all children not in school, and the majority of the world's one billion illiterate adults are women.
The reasons why girls are excluded from attaining an education are varied and complex, but the consequences remain the same. Without at least a complete primary education, the odds of having a quality life will be against many of them, as they face limited employment options, lower pay, more children and less control over their health and well-being. What's more, they will be less able to contribute to the well-being of their families and society as a whole.
Do your part to help fight global poverty and tell our leaders to support education for girls everywhere!
