A neurosurgeon at the Cleveland Clinic is being investigated for killing a dog as part of a medical device sales training. He performed the procedure without permission from the Clinic's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and in violation of hospital rules, which forbid the use of animals for sales trainings. The Clinic has started an internal investigation of the incident and reported it to the USDA. Please "Take Action" to urge the director of the Cleveland Clinic to make public the results of his internal investigation and fund the development of non-animal training models.
