The Clean Cruise Ship Act of 2004 has been introduced in Congress to help fight cruise pollution. But it needs your help!

Cruise ships generate vast amounts of waste, and much of it is inadequately treated. The Clean Water Act requires cities and industries that generate similar amounts of waste to treat and monitor their discharges; but the cruise industry is exempt from the Clean Water Act's requirements. The Clean Cruise Ship Act closes these loopholes and will help protect our nation's coasts and coastal communities.

Write to your Members of Congress and urge them to co-sponsor the Clean Cruise Ship Act!
