The short explanation of this alert was:

After weeks of denying knowledge of the illegal dogfighting activities taking place at his Virginia home, NFL quarterback Michael Vick pled guilty today to federal conspiracy charges that could land him in prison for up to five years. Despite Vick's admission of guilt, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank has not cut Vick from the team because it is "not in the long-term best interests of (the) franchise." Please "Take Action" to urge Blank to do the responsible thing and end the Falcons' relationship with Vick now.

Please also urge friends and family to take action on this important issue.
