The short explanation of this alert was:

The upscale boutique bebe's corporate policy on fur proclaims that the company "strongly believes in the humane treatment of animals." Yet they admit to using fur and claim this is not inhumane because "bebe is committed to only using fur obtained as a byproduct and never from animals whose lives have ended for the sake of their fur alone." Please "Take Action" to let bebe's CEO know that making clothes from the skins of murdered animals is cruel and inhumane even if their bodies were first used for meat.
