The short explanation of this alert was:

On Thursday, December 14th, two horses died in consecutive races reportedly due to unsafe track conditions at Bay Meadows racetrack in San Mateo, Calif. Two more horses perished in subsequent days. Please "Take Action" to urge Bay Meadows' President to initiate protocols to ensure thorough inspection of the track before each race and not to hold races in wet weather as it endangers the lives of racing horses.
