The short explanation of this alert was:

At el Parque de las Ciencias (The Science Park), a zoo in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, the animals endure terrible conditions. In fact, the zoo does not even meet the minimum standards set by the Animal Welfare Act (AWA), yet it remains open to the public. Please "Take Action" to urge Bayamón's mayor to either improve conditions at the zoo or send the animals to sanctuaries.

Please also ask friends and family to take action on this important issue.
