Some Senate Republicans have filed an amendment to the Flood Insurance Bill (S. 2973) that would open up vast natural areas to the oil, coal, and logging industries, destroying many important animal habitats on land and at sea. We have little time to defeat this amendment, so please take action now to urge your Senators to vote against cloture for Amendment #4720 to S. 2973 and maintain the Democratic filibuster.
