The short explanation of this alert was:

On Friday, September 29th, the U.S. Senate dealt a serious blow to all Americans' Constitutional rights by unanimously approving S 3880, the Senate version of the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA). If the AETA becomes law, causing any business classified as an "animal enterprise" to suffer a profit loss could be defined as a "terrorist" act -- even if the company's financial decline is caused by peaceful protests, boycotts, media campaigns or leafleting.

Please "Take Action" to urge your Representative to oppose the AETA.
