The USDA recently stopped the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration because six of the 10 finalists had been sored. Though illegal, many trainers use this painful practice that forces horses to walk with an exaggerated gait because it makes them more likely to win competitions. Please "Take Action" to thank USDA deputy administrator Chester Gipson for having the courage to protect show horses from abusive practices.
