Campaign Unavailable We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit IDA's Action Center. The short explanation of this alert was: Every year, as part of their annual Rodeo, a small town in Eastern Washington State hosts the Omak Suicide Race, a deadly competition that has killed at least 20 horses since 1983. The race was held again this year from August 10th to 13th. Thankfully, no deaths occurred, but the horses may not be so fortunate next time. Please "Take Action" to urge Omak Mayor Dale Sparber to make 2006 the last year the Suicide Race is run. Also tell a friend about this issue and donate to IDA so that we can continue our important work for animals. If you would like to view details on this alert, please visit here. |
