The short explanation of this alert was:
In his State of the State address, the Governor proposed a wage freeze for state employees. Now, that proposal has a vehicle in the form of a bill: SF 372 in the Senate and HF 586 in the House.

UPDATE: We have sent nearly 300 emails to Senators on this issue. Now the House has introduced a companion bill. Please contact your Representative right now and tell them to oppose HF 586!
